SATYAM PATEL
Having
worked with hundreds of singers over the past 8 years, Satyam Patel
expanded his business and opened
VOICES: a music & arts studio in north Scottsdale in 2006. As Director of
VOICES, he leads a talented team of instructors to offer a wide variety of
classes while maintaining his own schedule as a voice teacher. Among the
classes offered are private voice, piano, guitar and violin lessons, as
well as group classes in art, music, and acting.
Even though he was excited about the growth of his business, Satyam
still felt that he wasn't able to fully empower singers with just voice
lessons and his short, 90-minute workshops. In late November of 2007,
Patel finally decided to create what is now known as The Singer's Connection!
Having come up with the concept to spend 2 full days with singers,
Satyam is able to teach more than just vocal technique -
he is able to provide tools that will help singers perform better on
stage, deal with anxiety, connect with their audiences, cover the
legalities regarding copywriting songs, music business scams, and promoting
themselves as
a singer, to name a few!
Many of Satyam’s students have been selected to perform throughout the
valley, as well as in movies, Fox's American Idol, and in prestigious venues throughout the
country, including New York’s Carnegie Hall. Several of his students have
released their own CDs. Satyam himself was personally requested to go on
tour with Disney’s The Cheetah Girls to provide vocal coaching and
private instruction to help them achieve and maintain excellent vocal
health during their rigorous tour schedule.
Along the way, Patel has remained focused on his goal to provide an
encouraging environment that nurtures the growth of singers through
private lessons, workshops, and performance opportunities regardless of
age or ability level. |
